Charisse Dove has been studying classical piano for over 21 years. Currently Dove is pursuing a Bachelors of Music in Piano Performance with scholarships at Shenandoah Conservatory, studying with Marika Bournaki. As a performer, she has organized and performed in both group and solo recitals around Northern Virginia. Passionate about music collaboration, Dove has experience performing group works written for two pianos, and has accompanied for school productions and competitions in both solo instrument and orchestral settings.  Dove has over 12 years of teaching experience in the Northern Virginia area and has taught over 80 students in her home studio and online, as well as organized bi-yearly recitals and events. Dove has recently moved to West Virginia and lives in Charles Town with her husband, and Shepherd-Mix Griffin. In her downtime, Dove enjoys all forms of fiber art, baking, and trying to keep plants alive.
