With the blizzard of 2016 behind us, CMSP hosted our annual 9th annual Candlelight Concert, featuring noted soprano, Rosa Lamoreaux, and her friends. On February 28th, Rosa presented a wonderful selection of songs from the Great American Songbook with bassist Jon Nazdin and pianist, Betty Bullock. The beautiful arrangements of beloved American classics such as Blue Skies, Try to Remember, and Our Love is Here to Stay delighted the audience in the lovely and intimate setting of the Ballroom at Barton Oaks in The Plains, VA.

CMSP’s annual Candlelight Concert raises money to enable us to provide scholarships to deserving students who might not otherwise be able to study music.
