Programs

We provide individual instruction and classes for children and adults on a variety of instruments. Suzuki instruction is available for piano, violin and cello. Recitals are held regularly throughout the school year. We offer several exciting music programs for children of all ages, ranging from birth through elementary school.

Lessons

Individual lessons are designed to help students develop musical skills at an ever-increasing level of proficiency.  Piano, cello, violin, viola, guitar, harp, flute, piccolo, oboe, bassoon, clarinet, voice, saxophone, trumpet, French horn, percussion, and organ lessons are offered.  Other instruments may be available upon request.  Students may participate in one or more recitals held regularly throughout the school year (fall and spring semesters). Summer instruction also available.

A music education program for very young children, their parents and/or caregivers.  Classes include an artistically conceived flow of songs, movement, nursery rhymes, instrumental jam sessions, and finger plays. These activities help children develop rhythm and tonal skills.  Three 10-week sessions throughout the year, in fall, winter, and spring at several CMSP locations, as well as a 6-week summer session.  Please see calendar for session start dates.

Outreach

We host several concerts and community events as part of our commitment to making high-quality performances available. With the exception of our Candlelight Concert fundraiser, all events are free and open to all. Concert performances range from our own student recitals to hosting graduate performance recitals and regional chamber musicians. Additionally, we have an Instrument Petting Zoo available.
