A Hands-On Introduction to the Harp!
Have you or someone you know ever thought about playing the harp?
Here’s the perfect opportunity to give it a try!
Participants will discuss the different kinds of harps and will learn to play a song or two on the instrument.
A session for children (age 7 and up) will take place from 10 – 12; a session for adults will take place from 1 – 3
according to the following schedule*:
Monday, June 22 - in Ashburn at Our Savior's Way Lutheran Church
Tuesday, June 23 - in Leesburg at St. James Episcopal Church
Wednesday, June 24 - in Aldie at the Church of Our Redeemer
Thursday, June 25 - in Upperville at Trinity Episcopal Church
Friday, June 26 - in Purcellville at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church
*there is a two person minimum; other days and times may be added if there is sufficient interest
Led by Loudoun Symphony harpist, Sylvia McClain, the two-hour seminar costs just $35 and includes the use of a
harp for the class.
